Arizona is home to several professional sports teams across various leagues:

Arizona Cardinals (NFL) – The Cardinals were originally established as the Chicago Cardinals in 1898 and moved to St. Louis in 1960 before finally settling in Arizona in 1988. They play their home games at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB) – The Diamondbacks are a Major League Baseball team founded in 1998 and based in Phoenix. They have won one World Series championship in 2001.

Phoenix Suns (NBA) – The Suns are a professional basketball team based in Phoenix, founded in 1968 as an expansion team. They play their home games at Phoenix Suns Arena.

Arizona Coyotes (NHL) – The Coyotes, originally established in 1972 as the Winnipeg Jets, were moved to Phoenix in 1996 and renamed the Coyotes. They play their home games at Gila River Arena in Glendale.

Arizona Rattlers (Indoor Football League) – The Rattlers are a professional indoor football team founded in 1992, based in Phoenix and playing their home games at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

In addition to these, Arizona has also hosted several Major League Baseball teams for spring training.
