Best uses
High-voltage solar charging
SolarX 4K opens a different route into the BLUETTI ecosystem: charging from a suitably designed higher-voltage solar array. It makes the most sense when the array and receiving station have already been identified.
What to check before buying
For a cabin with an existing array, ask for its actual electrical specifications and proposed charging arrangement. A panel count or total nameplate wattage alone cannot tell you whether the string falls within the controller’s operating limits.
Compatibility checklist
| Part of the setup | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Array | Have the string voltage across expected temperatures, current limits and protection checked against the exact manual. |
| Receiving equipment | Manufacturer lists Apex 300, AC300, AC500 and selected B300-series batteries. Confirm your exact host and operating arrangement. |
| Cable selection | The selected catalog offer is the P090D version for single-Apex use. Parallel configurations use a different arrangement; do not substitute by appearance. |
| Installation | Grounding, isolation, disconnects and wiring belong in the system design. Have a qualified installer review the high-voltage side. |
Key specifications
| Product role | MPPT solar charge controller |
|---|---|
| Published input range | 150–500V; exact array design must follow the current manual |
| Output architecture | Steps down to below 60V |
| Charging headline | Up to 4,000W, configuration dependent |
| Offer variants | P090D and XT60 adapter-cable versions |
Before ordering.
A single portable panel may sit far below the controller’s stated input range. This product is not a shortcut for connecting arbitrary panels to a station. It also does not add stored energy: a battery remains a separate part of the setup.
Sources and limitations
The current US merchant page identifies the controller’s voltage-conversion role, supported product families and two cable offers. AZSP’s recommendation is to evaluate the array, receiving equipment and wiring as one design. We have not measured charging output or tested cable interchangeability.

Frequently asked question
Will SolarX 4K increase my station’s AC output?
No. It adds a supported charging path. The station’s inverter rating and the available battery capacity still determine what you can power and for how long.
