Why this model
Rolling essential-load backup.
The Elite 400 combines 3,840Wh of storage with 2,600W continuous output. Its built-in wheels and pull handle make it easier to reposition on a suitable surface. This is a substantial battery to place near the equipment you intend to support.
Plan your power needs
The larger battery is useful only if you can replenish it between uses. For repeated off-grid days, compare the energy your loads consume with the energy your panels actually collect. A brief sunny interval and a shaded campsite are very different recharge situations.
Estimate runtime
How long could it power your devices?
A constant 200W load would use 2,400Wh over twelve hours. With our illustrative 80% allowance, the Elite 400 offers a 3,072Wh AC planning budget, or about 15.4 hours at that steady draw. Save headroom for variations rather than treating this as guaranteed overnight coverage.
Estimate = rated Wh × 80% ÷ load W. The 80% allowance is illustrative, not measured for this model. Inverter idle draw, temperature, battery age and cycling loads affect actual runtime. Check motor startup separately; lifting modes do not replace continuous ratings.
Illustrative AC estimate from a full base battery, without recharging or expansion batteries. Small loads can be especially sensitive to inverter idle draw.

Shipping note checked October 26, 2026: BLUETTI’s US listing says Elite 400 ships from late November. Confirm the current dispatch date for your configuration before ordering; panels and other bundle components may ship separately.
Station or solar bundle?
A station-only purchase does not include solar panels. Check panel voltage, current, connectors and required cables against the exact manual; matching the panel’s advertised watts alone is insufficient.

What independent reviewers found
The Solar Lab liked the construction, readable display and quiet operation. Its measured efficiency was around 77%, and it identified solar replenishment as a constraint for the large battery. Our calculator therefore remains an illustrative budget, rather than a claim of measured Elite 400 runtime.

Before you choose
Will the wheels make it easy to take upstairs?
Plan for the full 39kg weight wherever rolling is not possible. Check your route, lifting assistance and storage position before purchase.
Can I connect this to household wiring?
Use only compatible approved connection equipment and appropriate professional installation. Never backfeed a household outlet. A station’s plug shape does not establish that a household circuit or appliance is compatible.
