Why this panel
Small-device solar charging.
SORA 60 brings a 60W folding solar option to smaller charging plans. The linked manufacturer manual lists a 1.4kg panel, a DC5521-to-XT60 cable and a multifunction adapter with USB outputs. This is a different connection approach from simply buying an MC4-only panel.
Where will you use the panel?
For direct USB use, check the adapter’s per-port limits and your device’s charging requirements. Direct solar output varies as clouds and shade move; a compatible buffer battery can separate charging availability from the moment your device needs power.
Estimate solar production
How much energy could it collect?
Four peak-sun-equivalent hours at the illustrative 70% allowance produce 168Wh in the planning model. A device using 40W for four hours already consumes 160Wh before other losses. That narrow margin shows why the actual device list matters more than the word portable.
Estimate = selected rated watts × peak-sun-equivalent hours × delivered-energy allowance. The default 70% is an illustrative system allowance, not measured performance or cell conversion efficiency. Peak-sun hours mean an equivalent amount of full-strength sunshine, not hours between sunrise and sunset. This is not a weather forecast or compatibility check.
Selected panel quantity: One 60W panel. Shade, heat, cable losses, charge-controller limits and battery charge acceptance can reduce energy collected. Loads running during charging reduce net stored energy.

What to check before buying
The product-page headline shows a different weight from its technical table. This guide follows the linked SORA 60 manual, which lists 1.4kg. Check that the supplied panel and accessories match that manual. IP65 does not mean it should remain in rain or water indefinitely.
Check voltage, current and connectors
Check panel open-circuit voltage, operating voltage and current, the receiving input’s limits, connector polarity and required cables. For multiple panels, verify the complete array. Cold conditions can raise open-circuit voltage; do not design to a voltage maximum without the required correction and margin.

This release uses the linked model-specific manual rather than copying conflicting headline specifications. AZSP has not hands-on tested SORA 60 and is not assigning a review score. The manual is linked below so you can inspect the port ratings and supplied cable for your setup.

Before you choose
Is this just a smaller MC4 panel?
Do not assume that. The linked SORA 60 manual shows a DC5521 connection, an XT60 station cable and a multifunction adapter. Verify the actual supplied connections and device limits.
Can the panel power household AC appliances by itself?
A solar panel supplies variable DC power. Household AC equipment needs a suitable compatible battery/inverter or other approved system. A panel alone is not a household backup station.
