Why this panel
Smaller folding solar setup.
SP100L is a 100W folding panel with monocrystalline cells, ETFE lamination and MC4 connectors. BLUETTI lists a 24.62V open-circuit voltage and a 4.95kg carrying weight. It is a compact-system option to compare against a larger portable panel.
Where will you use the panel?
Think about where the panel goes while the battery stays protected. Include the correct station cable and the distance between the two in the purchase plan. A shaded panel near the vehicle may collect less than a properly positioned panel with a suitable cable.
Estimate solar production
How much energy could it collect?
At four peak-sun-equivalent hours and a 70% allowance, a 100W panel has an illustrative 280Wh daily yield. That can be meaningful for a modest device budget; it is a small contribution to a multi-kWh backup battery. Adjust the scenario to your trip instead of copying the example as a forecast.
Estimate = selected rated watts × peak-sun-equivalent hours × delivered-energy allowance. The default 70% is an illustrative system allowance, not measured performance or cell conversion efficiency. Peak-sun hours mean an equivalent amount of full-strength sunshine, not hours between sunrise and sunset. This is not a weather forecast or compatibility check.
Selected panel quantity: One 100W panel. Shade, heat, cable losses, charge-controller limits and battery charge acceptance can reduce energy collected. Loads running during charging reduce net stored energy.

What to check before buying
BLUETTI does not recommend mounting SP100L directly on a roof or car. It is a folding portable panel, not automatically a permanent vehicle installation product. For a surface-mounting project, compare PV100 FX and follow the exact mounting instructions.
Check voltage, current and connectors
Check panel open-circuit voltage, operating voltage and current, the receiving input’s limits, connector polarity and required cables. For multiple panels, verify the complete array. Cold conditions can raise open-circuit voltage; do not design to a voltage maximum without the required correction and margin.

Before you choose
Can the SP100L go directly on my vehicle roof?
The manufacturer does not recommend that use. Choose a panel and mounting method intended for the installation, and verify both the electrical and mechanical requirements.
Can the panel power household AC appliances by itself?
A solar panel supplies variable DC power. Household AC equipment needs a suitable compatible battery/inverter or other approved system. A panel alone is not a household backup station.
